Filter set with sediment filter and activated carbon filter, plus digital water meter, drinking water hose, and ClingCup suction holder.
The sediment filter removes larger impurities such as sand, algae, rust, and coarse dirt from the water. Activated carbon filter: Activated carbon filters chlorine, heavy metals, dyes, hormone and drug residues, PFAS (polyfluorinated chemicals), organic hydrocarbons, microplastics, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, as well as substances that impair odor and taste from the water. It does not remove minerals such as magnesium, calcium, or potassium, or trace elements.
- Activated carbon made from coconut shells
- Iodine value > 1000 mg/g; activated carbon with a high iodine value can absorb more contaminants than carbon with a lower iodine value.
- BET surface area 1050 m²/g; BET measurement is a term for an analytical method used to determine the size of surfaces, especially porous solids, using gas adsorption.
- Effective particle size: 1.0 mm; main particle diameter: 1.4 mm.
Additional fine filter, 10 micrometer size.
We recommend replacing the activated carbon filter after approximately 3-4 months from first use.

This should be noted Important information: When using the filter system, especially with an activated carbon filter, the flow rate may decrease. The fine structure of the activated carbon, which ensures thorough filtration, reduces the water flow. The inlet pressure also plays a role – and you may want to check the inlet hose (e.g., with long or thin pipes). Water taps at campsites don't always offer optimal water pressure. Ensure the correct flow direction and vertical installation to prevent air bubbles. With prolonged use, the activated carbon can become saturated – a filter change is then advisable, even if this isn't immediately apparent in the water's condition.
Note regarding the accuracy of the water meter: The water meter is precise and reliable; however, system-related deviations can occur. These can be caused by, for example, air in the pipe system, fluctuating water pressure, unfavorable installation positions, or minor leaks. Under normal conditions, the deviation is typically less than 10%. The displayed values are therefore for guidance only and do not replace a calibrated consumption measurement.

Sehr praktisch ist der Halter und der Schlauch, der Zähler hilft von außen zu wissen wann genug im Tank ist. Unglaublich was nach kurzer Zeit im Sedimentfilter hängen bleibt. Hab direkt Ersatz Kartuschen für Sediment und aktivkohle Mitbestellt. Gutes System mit erträglichen Kosten für Austausch der Kartuschen.
