CamperFilter activated charcoal Practical.
Filter set sediment filter and activated charcoal filter plus comfort suction holder.
The sediment filter removes larger impurities such as sand, algae, rust and coarse dirt from the water. Mesh size: 0.15 mm/100 mesh
Activated carbon filter: Activated carbon filters chlorine, heavy metals, dyes, hormone and drug residues, PFAS (polyfluorinated chemicals), organic hydrocarbons, microplastics, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, bacteria, germs and odour- and taste-impairing substances from the water.
However, it does not remove minerals such as magnesium, calcium or potassium and trace elements.
- Activated carbon from coconut shell
- Iodine value > 1000 mg/g; an activated carbon with a high iodine value can absorb more pollutants than one with a lower iodine value.
- BET surface area 1050 m2/g; the BET measurement is a term for an analysis method for determining the size of surfaces, in particular porous solids, by means of gas adsorption.
- Effective particle size: 1.0 mm; main particle diameter: 1.4 mm.
Also contains a fine filter which filters contaminants up to 10 micrometres in size.
We recommend replacing the activated carbon filter after approx. 3-4 months from the first use.

- Filter cartridge with 3/4" screw cap, clear plastic
- Filter insert plastic mesh (mesh size: 0.15 mm/100 mesh) washable max. 60°C.

- Filter holder 2-piece (1 suction holder, 1 holder for cartridge)
Rinse the activated charcoal filter briefly at the start of each use. Change the filter after 3-4 months, even if used infrequently.

Compatible with hose systems with 1/2" connections
When using the filter system, especially with activated charcoal filters, the flow rate may decrease. This is due to the fine structure of the activated carbon, which ensures thorough filtration but reduces the water flow rate. The inlet pressure also plays a role - and if necessary, check the inlet hose (e.g. for long or thin pipes). Tapping points on campsites do not always offer the optimum water pressure. Ensure the correct flow direction and vertical installation to avoid air bubbles. With prolonged use, the activated carbon may become saturated - a filter change is then advisable, even if this is not directly reflected in the condition of the water.
Retaining ring may vary in colour between grey and black depending on the production line.

Bin begeistert!
Ich bin durch ein YouTube Video auf den Filter aufmerksam geworden. Wir haben uns letztes Jahr ein Wohnwagen zugelegt, und dann stand erstmal der ganze Zubehörkauf an, da kommt ordentlich was zusammen. Ein Wasserfilter stand auch auf unserer Wunschliste, allerdings sind die anderen Filter doch recht teuer. Ich habe mir den CamperFilter Aktiv ohne Wasserzähler bestellt, habe ihn ein paar Minnten durchgespült und es konnte losgehen. Wir waren am Garda damit, dort roch das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn ziemlich nach Chlor, nach dem Wasserfilter war der Geruch komplett weg, und das Wasser schmeckt leicht "süßlich". Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Filter und kann ihn nur empfehlen. Eine Sache möchte ich auch erwähnen, der Service von CamperStation ist echt mega! Leider war der erste Filter scheinbar defekt, die Durchflussmenge war ziemlich niedrig, so hat das füllen des Wassertanks eine Stunde gedauert. Aber der Service von Camperstation war top, ich bekam am Telefon einige Tipps, und der Filter wurde sofort ausgetauscht. Der neue Filter funktioniert perfekt, die Füllung des Tanks dauert nun ca. 6 Minuten. Ich sage danke!
