When using the filter system, especially with activated carbon filters, the flow rate may decrease. This is due to the fine structure of the activated carbon, which ensures thorough filtration but reduces the water flow rate. The inlet pressure also plays a role - and if necessary, check the inlet hose (e.g. for long or thin pipes). Tapping points on campsites do not always offer the optimum water pressure. Ensure the correct flow direction and vertical installation to avoid air bubbles. With prolonged use, the activated carbon may become saturated - a filter change is then advisable, even if this is not directly reflected in the condition of the water.
Retaining ring may vary in colour between grey and black depending on the production line.

Bin begeistert!
Ich bin durch ein YouTube Video auf den Filter aufmerksam geworden. Wir haben uns letztes Jahr ein Wohnwagen zugelegt, und dann stand erstmal der ganze Zubehörkauf an, da kommt ordentlich was zusammen. Ein Wasserfilter stand auch auf unserer Wunschliste, allerdings sind die anderen Filter doch recht teuer. Ich habe mir den CamperFilter Aktiv ohne Wasserzähler bestellt, habe ihn ein paar Minnten durchgespült und es konnte losgehen. Wir waren am Garda damit, dort roch das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn ziemlich nach Chlor, nach dem Wasserfilter war der Geruch komplett weg, und das Wasser schmeckt leicht "süßlich". Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Filter und kann ihn nur empfehlen. Eine Sache möchte ich auch erwähnen, der Service von CamperStation ist echt mega! Leider war der erste Filter scheinbar defekt, die Durchflussmenge war ziemlich niedrig, so hat das füllen des Wassertanks eine Stunde gedauert. Aber der Service von Camperstation war top, ich bekam am Telefon einige Tipps, und der Filter wurde sofort ausgetauscht. Der neue Filter funktioniert perfekt, die Füllung des Tanks dauert nun ca. 6 Minuten. Ich sage danke!
