The sediment filter removes larger impurities such as sand, algae, rust and coarse dirt from the water.

-3 plastic mesh filter inserts (mesh size: 0.15 mm/100 mesh)

When using the filter system, especially with activated carbon filter, the flow rate may decrease. This is due to the fine structure of the activated carbon, which ensures thorough filtration but reduces the water flow rate. The inlet pressure also plays a role - and if necessary, check the inlet hose (e.g. for long or thin pipes). Tapping points on campsites do not always offer the optimum water pressure. Ensure the correct flow direction and vertical installation to avoid air bubbles. With prolonged use, the activated carbon may become saturated - a filter change is then advisable, even if this is not directly reflected in the condition of the water.
